MARANELLO, KOMPAS.com — Sistem poin di F1 yang diusulkan dengan nilai tertinggi 25 angka buat pemenang setiap seri batal dilaksanakan pada 2010 ini. Usulan baru datang lagi dari Team Principal Ferrari Stefano Domenicali yang merevisi terhadap sistem skor di arena balap jet darat.

Domenicali mengusulkan, untuk poin balapan masih mengacu pada ketentuan lama (10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1). Di luar itu, saat kualifikasi dan balapan perlu diberi angka. Jadi, pebalap yang merebut pole position dan yang mencatat rekor tercepat saat lomba layak diberi angka. Demikian usulannya yang dikutip F1 Technical.net, jelang akhir tahun lalu.

Kepada koran Italia La Stampa, Domenicali mengatakan, "Sistem perolehan angka itu perlu ditinjau kembali. Proposal mengenai angka untuk peraih posisi start terdepan dan tercepat di balapan harus dibuat."
